Pastor Stephen Powers has enjoyed over 25 years of Pastoral ministry. He left Law School at Detroit College of Law to follow a call into the ministry. He received his Masters of Divinity degree at Trinity Evangelical School in Deerfield, Illinois. He was a youth pastor for five years in Indianapolis, Indiana and a Senior Pastor in New Bern, North Carolina for 4 years and Otisville, Michigan for 11 years. Pastor Steve first received a burden for the Lord for Jacksonville, Florida in 1984. For over 25 years he knew he had a destiny and purpose to fulfill in Jacksonville and he is very excited that the Lord has said “now is the time.” Pastor Steve has been the Senior Pastor at Freedom Christian Fellowship since February 19th, 2006. Pastor Steve and his wife Patricia, have four sons, Stephen, Matthew, Nathanial and Jonathan.
